Causey Pike

Another 3 hour walk today. This time from Braithwaite, near Keswick, to Outerside. Outerside lies between Causey Pike and Grisedale Pike. There is a small tarn at Low Moss. Chloe couldn't resist it, and I knew it would probably be today's blip!
We had another sunny day! The visibility was a bit hazy, but there were excellent views of Skiddaw, Blencathra, Sail, Eel Crag, etc etc
[iOuterside is a simple climb that few walkers bother to do; and by this omission they deny themselves a lot of pleasure and a rewarding introduction to the grand circle of hills around Coledale.][/i] A. Wainwright

Some of you were worried about Chloe being in the bog yesterday. You'll be pleased to know that she was soon swimming happily in a nearby tarn!
