goths and gothspotters

Yes, it's Whitby Goth Weekend again. The streets are heaving with buskers, goths and the inevitable goth-spotters. I've been taking photographs at this twice-yearly event for over ten years, and this year is the first where I've seen the photographers outnumber the goths. On every corner amateur snappers in camouflage vests prowl with long lenses and huge flash guns. It's becoming a bit of a circus.
