How mad is this?

It's a metal octopus clutching a chess piece. Obviously. It's in Hastings and isn't the only one. There is also a black king being embraced by a metallic snake and a seahorse which doesn't seem engaged in wrecking the chess game and a white knight which remains unmolested. It's lovely and bonkers and well worth seeing if you are ever in that neck of the woods.
