Yummmm...

yep, it's yesterday's cake, all sliced and labelled and ready for the office gannets :-) and even if i say so myself it was a good one.

which is just as well, as it was a bit of a day. despite the fact we knew weeks (months?) ago the day of the budget, and the chancellor stood up at lunchtime and spoke for only an hour, somehow there wasn't a decision til 4.30 in the afternoon as to what was going where. which kind of slowed things up a bit, leading to a frantic few hours (and no chance of a break again, and somehow two hours of doing very little at the start of the day didn't make up for it!). *sigh*

in other news, an interesting conversation revealed some potentially useful militant tendencies...
