Earth Hour
Today, 26th March, at 8.30pm is Earth Hour where everyone is encouraged to switch off their lights for an hour in order to raise awareness of climate change and celebrate the planet. It makes you think about a resource you take for granted every day and consider where that resource comes from and how it is generated. The resource is of course electricity which, along with other sources of energy that we consume almost without thinking, are overly dependant on the finite resource of fossil fuels. Further info on Earth Hour can be found here.
Today, right now, is Earth Hour.
I'm very, very tired today. Was feeling poorly myself yesterday, but as a result of the wee man's antics, where he was up being sick on a regular basis until 3am and then up being sick again at 6am we have both had very little sleep. He's much improved now and hopefully tomorrow he will resume eating normally. In the meantime, I'm clinging on!
