On the Water

This little image brings new meaning to the phrase "living on the water." ;-)

A gorgeous spring day. P and I left our little home on the Island early this morning for a boat trip to Canoe Cove Marina to pick up our sailboat. The work had been finished by the yard (after we abandoned our efforts to give her the spring workup) due to the ferociously cold and wet weather. We had a fast trip, collected our son and the sailboat and made the trip back home. All boats arrived safely and are tied to the dock. ;-) P made the trip in 50 min in the motor boat. My son and I took 2. 5 hours in the sailboat. Glorious day. A wonderful way to catch up with my son and the time slipped by without us noticing.

This image was taken at the marina just after we arrived. Perfect day for reflections...of all sorts. Can't wait to be out on the water cruising the beautiful waters by our home.
