Weather
Yesterday was a cracker of a late summer day. Sunshine and blue sky.
Today has been decidedly different - it's definitely letting us know about the changing season. I drove through rain most of the way from Christchurch to Murchison - just varying in intensity.
I was really taken with the colours the rain and mist brought out in the scenery so I stopped a number of times to take photos. Just as well I'd spent some time in Briscoes this morning and one of my purchases was a new umbrella - that I didn't think I needed and only brought because it is purple. It came in handy for keeping my camera dry.
This is taken from the side of the road in the Boyle/Lewis Pass area.
