The Lake in Spring

Above average spring temperatures are accelerating the spring melt.

Below Tignes, it's all gone green.

I drove to Bourg today (Sunday) for a shop at the supermache, but being the civilized god-fearing folk they are, the French take the lord's day seriously. They take the day off work so that they can bet on the horses. So no groceries for me.

The view up to Paradiski from Bourg is interesting. I think they've invented mud skiing.

Anyway, the weather has come in again and Espace Killy is holding it's breath, hoping for a little new snow to keep things going.
