I didn't have a great day today. Actually it was pretty bad.

But a few minutes ago I got around to my daily ritual (our daily ritual, really) of transferring my pictures and picking one to post. I usually do it between midnight and 1am (GMT-5), and today was no exception.

I transferred them, went through, picked the best ones, and viewed them.

There was no obvious winner, and none of them are great, but I feel like I really _saw_ something in each case, and it made me happy. So today was pretty good.

(then I remembered that I had a few images on my compact camera from this morning when I went to the dentist, and ended up using one of those - even better!)
