Arvicola amphibius

This little chap is the European Water Vole, getting quite rare these days. This is the first one I,ve seen in 10 years. Spotted down by the stream this afternoon in the half hour of sunshine we had.

It's been a lovely peaceful day today, not much going on, just quiet slobbing......and the occasional glance at Beaniebuttons rather shocking photos from last nights Burleque evening!
