Piles of Toys
I set my alarm for 6.30 this morning as I needed to get up and make sandwiches and get organised for Cameron's party today. I would have loved to have a picture from the party but I spent most of the time in the kitchen, organising things and getting the food and drink ready for the kids.
There were 29 kids at the party which was in the scout hut, just up the road from our house. The party was given by Gary, from Enjoy-a-Ball, one of Cameron's after school activities. Yes, it was noisy, but it was very well controlled by Gary, one minute they were roaring, running and chasing balls, or games with the parachute, the next they were quiet(ish) against the wall listening for his instructions. There was a 15 min break for food and drink then back to the 2nd half madness!
Afterwards, we walked back down to the house, and as the weather was so nice, Cameron opened all his presents outside in the garden. You can see here just how many he got, and it took a while to open them all. Make a funny face I said - they didn't need a second telling! In this picture is one of Cameron's oldest friends Charlotte and her sister Mimi, along with Magnus, who you have seen before on my journal. No-one was late to the party with the clock change, but my brother did get something wrong - he arrived at the house with a bunch of flowers and card for my mum for mother's day - a whole week early!
I'm sitting here, shattered, but thinking back over the day, we all really enjoyed it.
