Glasgow sunrise

This is a late blip of a very early photo taken this morning. It's been a long weekend with very little sleep, but both Mountain Travels and I have had a great weekend. We worked out on the train home that we've walked in excess of 20 miles of Glasgow's city streets over these past two days!

We set the alarm clock early this morning despite losing an hours sleep with the clocks going forward, however when the alarm went off I decided that sleep was more important than photo opportunities. So off I was entering the land of nod for a lazy lie in when Mountain Travels alarm clock went off again......and again! By this point I realised sleep was hopeless and we irritably got up and went out with cameras at 6.30am. In hindsight, looking at my photos of today it was worth it. I've taken 112 photos today, not all of them good, but some of them okay.

Feeling as tired as I am now it's been hard to choose which photo to blip but in the end I've chosen this one taken just before sunrise from the Squiggly Bridge. I've chosen it because of the colours, the silhouette of the skyline, and the reflection in the still waters of the river.

Phew it's good to be home, back to a bit of normality tomorrow and a chance to look through what everyone else has been blipping over the weekend.
