Mum and Dad at Beechen Cliff

I'm learning to see again, through a new lens (17-40mm f/4 L). After a little time with it, I still feel more at home with my 50mm f1.4 - the detail and depth, the way that you see quite faithfully what you do with your own eyes - a poetic lens. This one is for spectacle and awe, and I'm enjoying that too, even though I haven't quite found my eyes with it yet.
