Resisted a title playing on the word "trash" .

I hope this was just a momentary blip in this man's day, and that he had somewhere better and warmer to go to finish his weekend. Thankfully, I definitely did: I am now back in the Borders for the next few days. In the past two hours I have received a freshly made bed, an instruction to mash potatoes [my favourite kitchen activity], a fantastic dinner, a stint in front of the stove, some champagne and the wonders of Freeview. Next on the list: a nice, cold beer.

It's good to be back.
