day-to-day the weather changes...

yesterday - the sun was shining, warm, wonderful - preparing my tootsies for freedom...

today woke to damp, dreary skies... snow on the ground, iced trees, buds encased in frost... brrrrrr.... momentarily forgot what spring time in the rockies really means...

discovered that the rose bushes, almost overnight, sprouted little buds... i was just looking at them the other day and these were not there. now this quick storm has covered them in ice crystals and bubbles... very pretty to the eye but clearly not healthy for the flowers themselves... boo!

the forecast tomorrow is for a sunny day once again.

happy day.....

p.s. the weather didn't stop me from enjoying my pedicure. my toots are now prepped for flipflops and the season to come... they are doing the happy dance...
