Upon reflection...the second.
So on Tuesday I took a photo of my reflection in this window, but this is how it looks in the daytime. I'm on the third floor but this building has five altogether. This is the view we get. We're based in Sighthill, those high rises as all set to be demolished soon.
My favourite part of the photo is the scramble of cars you can see. There are no official car park spaces for the students on campus, so we all have to park here. It's free, but it'a chaotic free for all to get a space! There is a big car park behind the first high rise, out of view, but spaces fill up really quickly so we all have to improvise. I passed so many cars today which were boxed in. This view is often very distracting, it's brilliant for people watching.
I took this photo because me and my friends spend all day every day in the room this was taken studying and despite the stress, we've had some really great times together in here. Uni is so busy and stressful just now it's sometimes hard to appreciate it because it's so demanding but it will be over in a few short weeks and I will miss it and hanging out with everyone so much so I thought it should be documented :D. I'm do busy (like everyone else) that I'm not really giving the end of uni the proper consideration it deserves.
I also took this because the view of Edinburgh and the castle is stunning. However, in the uni's official campus photos, they've used a photo from this viewpoint but have cut out the high rises. I know they are unsightly compared to the rest of the view, but it feels wrong to cut them out I think.
