My favorite flower!

Inspired by Abstract Eyes, I blipped the daffodils I bought at Trader Joe's yesterday. My, they opened fast!

We spent the day in Long Beach where it was warm and sunshiny. When we left home, it was cold and drizzly. Two families who live next to each other (brothers) had their sons come home from the service this week, so we had a party. [Any good excuse for a party!] One is in the Army in Afganastan for 6 months, and the other is in the Air Force and just finished boot camp in October, so this was his first time home since he left in August. Good to see them! They really have changed - more mature, more respectful, more adult!

It was a beautiful ride home. We took PCH and watched the sun set over the Pacific Ocean. I fell asleep as we winded through the canyons on our way inland to home.....

My eyes look like two slits. I talked to my sister a bit tonight (boy, is she cranky tonight!) And I forgot to measure my daughter and call my mom so she could finish the outfit she is making her for First Communion. But I did get a load of laundry done. Oh, and Daisy peed on my bed when we got home so now I have to go make the bed....ugh.

But I'm so happy to see my daffodils when I got home!


And I BLIPPED!! That's TWO days in a row!! I'm like on a roll!!!!!!!!!
