Cloud forms
Living in a beachside community at spring break time has it's good and less good points. The main one being that we want lovely weather for the visitors who flock (we do call them snowbirds for a reason!!) to our warm, sunny spring climate. They are a large part of the economy for this area, and indeed, for most of Florida.
On the other hand, we are chronically short of rain, and pray for it with our fingers crossed. Some mild clouds rolled in about supper time last evening, and the thunderstorms began a bit after midnight. The tourists won't be happy, but in the end, a good nourishing rain wins out over dollars. And we do have museums and malls and other indoor activities for our visitors.
This shot of a brooding sky isn't my favorite of the ones I've taken so far this morning, but it does show the storm clouds well I think.
