Pine Cones?

I'm not sure that this is what this is, but its on a tree with pine cones and spiky bristles like pine cone tree.

We (the dogs and I) went up Cowraik Quarry to take a few shots of these, because I took some a couple of days ago and they were too blurry to use. This is still a little bit off, but better!!
