This Side Of Paradise

Sunny days in spring

Daddy pig was off work today so after music tots in the morning Harvey had his sleep while Mummy pig and Daddy fixed the fence and then we drove out to Rufford park. Harvey loved walking round by himself (and walking into people) he waved at dogs and other people and chased some ducks. We found a frog hopping along the path which i had to prevent him standing on! We took a leftover half of french stick with me which was so stale and hard i could hardly tear bits off it, i thought the ducks might sink once they ate it. Harvey couldnt resist chomping a few bits thinking it was for him. We stopped for icecream and then Harvey did the other half of the park back in his buggy, he was tired at this point having already walked a long way. The dog loved it too and we let him have a run off his lead in a quiet part of the park (cos it was too busy)

On the way home we passed a farm shop at this villiage called Kneesall and they had a sign outside ' two sirloin steaks and a bottle of wine for £10' we both looked at each other and went 'yummy' so we stopped and got some. The shop was fab i will deffiniatly go back. They had allsorts of yummy goodies all local stuff butchers, fruit, veg, cheese.... everything! The steaks were HUGE ! One steak would have done the two of us but we had no problem finishing it all :) i had a couple of glasses of wine (naughty) and could have carried on but sadly i am not alowed (poor me)
