From Lego comes.....

.....a pretty bloody amazing thingy; Falkirk Wheel. The principal architect used Lego to model the rotation mechanism; so simple yet very very effective.

I had Owen and his mate Charlie on a day out for half-term holidays and they loved this place....of course the wall to wall sunshine helped in buckets....I even got a wee snooze in the sun whilst they played in the nearby 'adventure park'.

We took our own picnic and were glad because the cafe prices where at Tourist Level 10, and although the food looked good they had run out of pretty much everything by 2pm, and lots of unprepared people were very disappointed.

The gentle pace of the boat trip made for a good day for the soul today.
