Hummingbirds

Photographing objects successfully is so difficult. How to capture the essence of the thing while still adequately recording its appearance. Well, my attempt on the way home to capture the local flowering cherry failed, so I was limited to taking photos in the house.

This bowl was my mother-in-law's, and sits in our hall where we see it every time we go in an out of the house.
