With mountains like these

Zoe and the machine

Needless to say that Lidia was the supreme hostess last night and the boys and I had a blast. We danced to Serbian folk songs and I looked around me wondering at how such a group of people came together. We laughed and cried a little and the boys fell asleep one by one, curled up together in a big duvet, happy as sand boys.

The best thing to do was let them sleep where they were, and they were returned to me in the morning having been fed and looked after like the best, and by the best. How wonderful it was to be able to trust them into someone's care for a little while. Thanks lovely Lidia for a great evening from us all.

We had another breakfast and then went to wish Mel a safe trip back to Hamburg with all our love. I took a load of shots of her and the girls and I hope she'll be pleased with them. Big kisses and bon voyage Mel.

The missing hour was lost amidst the busy weekend. I think a bit of a late night was the answer. We lost it amidst the drowsy hours and laughter.
