Heads and Tails
Beneath my make-shift card table desk were heads and tails and I only realized that when I moved my feet and clunked into Max's head. Good grief! They stay as close as they can, and just to my left was Chloe.
This day hasn't been dull. Just before 9:00 a.m. a construction man came to check our backyard and talk us through the procedure of building a shed.
Shortly after 10:00 a couple of real estate workers were sitting at our dining room table. We were talking about property. No we aren't selling and certainly not buying, at least not at this moment.
Then it was almost afternoon and I had to be at the Riverside campus for a 3-hour computer workshop. Our campus will also host a workshop, but it is on a day when I am in the classroom, so to Riverside I went. The bonus was that Mr. Fun had a free afternoon; well, nothing is free, but he was able to tag-along and that doubled my fun. Even though he thought the workshop was rather boring he did learn about slideshare and thought that was cool.
It was 5:30 before we arrived home and I was bummed because we missed President Obama's speech to the nation. Then we fixed dinner, ate, and prepared the pups food; I think they were a little miffed that they had to wait for us to eat first; that's not the usual.
I've spent the past two hours in my online office with a virtual room full of students. I've typed with lightening speed. So now it's late. I'm tired and tomorrow is rapidly approaching. So for tonight, it's just heads and tails.
Good night from Southern California.
Rosie (& Mr. Fun, and Chloe, Mitzi, and Max), aka Carol
