True Blue Fan

Today we went off to ANZ Stadium to see the NRL game between Canterbury Bulldogs and Sydney City Roosters, the team we has seen training on Friday at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Two trains and we are at the ground, it was just so easy. A couple of tickets and we are off into the stadium and luckily we are under cover because it?s now inevitable that we will see rain at sometime today. It?s still 1 ½ hours before the game starts and we watch the curtain raiser between the team?s two Toyota Cup squads. This bloke sat in front of us to watch the game as well.

It got me thinking............

This bloke is a true fan, he goes along to watch his beloved Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs whether it be the Toyota Cup team or the NRL team. A true fan stays with the team through thick and thin and is always there regardless of how the team is performing. There was a huge influx about 5 minutes before kickoff just after the club had made a presentation of a signed jersey to a bloke that has been a supporter since 1941. They aren?t true fans they are just there for the fun of seeing their local team win, would they be there if the team had lost 10 in a row, I don?t think so.
