Open wide!!

Glorious autumn day so went to the estuary - not as easy as it sounds from our area with all the road closures and road works etc, but it was lovely to get out there again, haven't been since the earthquake.

Not much bird life, but found this pied shag resting and he didn't seem to mind me coming reasonably close. Wasn't sure if this was a threat posture or if he was bored with my presence and the camera clicking!
