peek-a-boo

are there any others out there who feel conscious about carrying a camera like i do? i am sometimes reluctant to bring a camera out coz it makes me feel... voyeuristic, intrusive and/or pretentious. i mean, i'm comfortable with a camera when i'm out for a shoot or on holiday, it just sometimes feels weird when i'm in my 'turf' or just on a working day... like today.

to take this blip, i'm standing in the carpark at work, peering through metal gates near a highway trying to picture what i want to take. if i were my boss looking out the office, i'd be wondering what i'm peeping at... was i spying on someone, or was i trying to catch someone picking his nose in the comfort of his car?
