Le Scarf
Where did spring go? Wasn't it supposed to have just gotten here?
It was warm last week. Now we have these crazy up and down temperature swings, and rain, and cold. Yesterday felt like winter again. It's cold today too, though at least there is sun.
Making up for it with these colors on my scarf.

I wanted to tell you about how I am just so Thrilled & Honored, and grateful to Dave Bonta who has let me know that Kristin Berkey-Abbott has chosen my book Trill & Mordent (WordTech Editions 2005) as one of 4 books selected for blog discussion during National Poetry Month this April.
Kristin writes on her blog:
"Dave Bonta plans to read a volume of poetry each day of April this year, just as he did last year, and post a daily review. I admire his stamina, but don't want to set myself up for failure that way. I wrote and asked if we could do a lite version, like a book a week. He agreed (although he will also continue with his original book-a-day plan), and we came up with a list. So, if you're like me and you love knowing that you're reading a book and other people in the universe are reading too, here's the list and the timeline:
week of April 4: Diane Lockward's Temptation by Water
week of April 11: Luisa Igloria's Trill and Mordent
week of April 18: Ren Powell's Mercy Island
week of April 25: William Trowbridge's Ship of Fool"

And here, from yesterday's post, is my poem "Letter, Fumbling Around in the Dark Again" now up on Via Negativa.
