Powai Lake, Mumbai

Here's the view from the South to the Norther Mumbai suburbs beyond Powai Lake.

Manmade in 1890, it adds to the charm of the city and is a popular picnic spot. Once served as a source of drinking water, but has now been declared unpalatable. I heard that it had crocs in it at one point.
