Clematis in March

Went out to look for signs of new growth in the garden and there are green shoots on some of the clematis. I liked the seeds with feathery tails on one clematis which doesn't have any growth signs yet. A quick internet search suggests i could probably plant the seeds but it would mean throwing away some of my black chilli seedlings to make space.
