Dentist today, I now have a very sore jaw and stitching in my gum leaving me unable to eat any real food for a day or two. And back next week for round 2...


I possibly have not taken as much care of my teeth as I should have, recently I decided to man up and get them sorted.

A few small fillings (Not too bad given time since last visit to a dentist).

One major issue, a tooth kind off broke away leaving the roots (Prompted the dental visit in first place). Have to get root removed as it is infected. Was in today trying to get it removed, they used a funny tool called an elevator to try and prize the root up the way (Not enough tooth showing to get a firm grip, and this elevator looks like a screwdriver). After 20 minutes of trying various elevators and another dentist coming to try I got told would have to go back for a surgical process. They plan to remove a small section of the bone to give access to the root and get it out.

All in all I think this would be lesson learned regarding regular dental inspections.
