Grotty weather today so no excuse for a bit of office based prep work.

Next week I'm working with my son's P4/5 class, helping them prepare entries for Rotary International's photography competition. The theme is 'Keep Scotland Tidy', and the young people are free to interpret that in any way they see fit.

I'm going with the re-cycling theme - giving everyday items a second life: for instance creating a beautiful pair of spectacles from the bottom of drinks bottles.

Any viewers in their forties may recall a sketch from 'Not the Nine O'Clock News' where Smith and Jones ripped the piss out of origami - it keeps popping into my mind, not sure why though...
