New shoes

Went shopping today in Mothercare with my gift card* and got lots of things for Ewan!

Ewan loves these shoes so much that he asked to wear them as soon as we got home, and has been stomping around in them since. I've not yet been able to remove the label!

He's not really supposed to be wearing them just yet; had to go for a size 8 as the 7 looked a bit small (he was measured at a 6½ very recently!) but they actually seem a very good fit and are clearly rather comfortable!

Thanks to Ewan my blip mojo has returned! Hurrah!



* A while ago Ewan's cot broke (the base snapped almost entirely in half - when he was in it!) and Mothercare said they'd replace the cot base. After waiting for some time it never arrived, then it emerged it must have got "lost in transit" (how can you lose a cot base?!) and they couldn't send another as there weren't any in stock and they weren't producing any more. As a result, Mothercare sent out a gift card. Quite ironic, given that actually that was far more useful than a replaced cot base as we'd had to replace his cot anyway so he had somewhere to sleep!
