All white on the night!

I started a new free photography course by subscribing to Practical Photography magazine called DSLR Bootcamp this month and I have to say I'm really enjoying it! I've started using flickr a lot more and met some lovely people in the group over there! It's really got me thinking about my photos again.

The first module is all about exposure and the homework is to take a photo of a simple object against a black or white background whichever contrast most, using natural light and adjust your exposure compensation to make the colours come out correctly. I nailed the black straight away and have been struggling with the white but I finally think I've sorted it with this shot? Homework doesn't have to be in till the 13th so I will keep playing until I'm 100% sure.
