Hard Times Come Again No More

I've always thought of this town as one of those places where every shop in the town centre is either a charity shop or closed.
I took this to illustrate the point. Then I had a look around and realised that, apart from these two and a couple further along the same street, most businesses are functioning in town. Many come and go in no time at all and quite a few are 99pence shops or similar but the town does seem to be getting on with it. I'm worried about the coming months though. The more I think about our politicians, the more I'm convinced that, left, right or centre, they are a bunch of wankers.
