Stowe Gardens

We met up with the Grandchildren in the gardens of Stowe school on a cold day - all prepared for a huge family pickernick.
Unfortunately Archie was ill and would have rather not been there. Henry was on form, though.
The picnic site was freezing cold and covered in nettles, but did this dampen spirits any?
Of course it did - so much so that the classical statues had to turn away to avoid ths sad scene. It was the intervention of a bottle of wne that managed to lift the spirits of the adults and the introduction of a running track that cheered up Henry.
Archie was beyond hope. He finally ended up on antibiotics the following day.
Poor little soldier.
