Bear Behind

Have to say I thought this ice bear sculpture was rather funky. Its to celebrate the opening of a new museum in Manchester, but also to highlght global warming, as it melts away it will leave a metal skeleton behind.

I also loved the jaunty onlooker in the background, he could be a (albeit badly dressed) dandy leaning upon his mantelpiece.

Feel like I am getting the mojo back, mainly due to dumping the dslr and going back to compacts. Takes the pressure off and seems to put some fun back into just grabbing an image.
