You mean to tell me this age old phrase is not based on scientific fact? Shocking. It has just been disproved anyway because as March came in, so it is leaving. We will get several inches of wet, heavy snow on Monday, but that's April 4th so it's clearly outside the boundary of the saying.

This is that highway they bulldozed through the woods for the skiers, the one that obliterated my favorite shady woodland path. Some skier dropped their fluorescent Scandinavian hat so I hung it on the tree and held a little memorial service for my path. Then one of the big dogs peed on the hat before I could stop him.

Lunch with favorite peeps today. Wonderful. Highlight of the week for me.
