Amazing to catch him talking animatedly and waving his hands about! What were the chances of that? (Actually, about 100%)

It was a nice change to have an evening out drinking good beer in Kay's Bar. And to meet some University friends of Q's. It is strange that we never met back in the early 80s; we were exact contemporaries and have since discovered that we have some mutual friends from that time...I imagine that we must have been in different rooms at numerous parties back in the day, never to meet till 20 years later.
