The shed at Mrs McCall's Shop

Well, it's not a shop anymore - hasn't been for years. But, for many years Mrs McCall would cross the paddocks behind the shop to her little weatherboard house across from the park and faithfully open the little general store. It's a little out from the village centre - just a couple of blocks. It was like a corner store, without being on the corner.

Mrs McCall died probably about 15 years ago now, but for some time prior to this she was the oldest resident of the village. And for that honour, she got to cut the cake on Blackheath Day.
