Is This Some Kind of Joke??!

We were supposed to get a half inch followed by rain. We awoke to 5 inches of the wet heavy stuff (with up to 5 more on the way) that caused falling power lines and toppling trees. It's April for crying out loud!

As the DPW worked out front to cut apart one of our lovely maples that fell across the street, tearing down our fence and a portion of a stonewall as well as backing up morning traffic for for 20 minutes, I stepped out back and captured this quiet moment amid the unexpected chaos.
