Ellie
Ellie drives round our office every morning selling us sarnies. This is the first morning I have asked to Blip her!
She was very kind to let me take her picture (especially as I faffed a bit) which I am pleased with for two reasons:
1) Exposure:
After listening to advice from rxs and jkj10 I did some exposure compensation for the shot. I saw the background was light and her face dark so lengthened the exposure a bit in AV mode (two stops - a random choice) and her face came out nicely exposed (I have normal exposure as well and can see the improvement in the general tone of her skin between the two shots.)
I learned something from lovely Blippers and put it into practice. Success!!
2) Context:
I love close up tightly cropped portraits but think I should force myself to learn other "styles" and give some context to pictures of people, "tell a little story". So from this you can see she has sandwiches and drives a van (sort of). Brilliant!
Have a super weekend people!
