Moving Day

A bit of a logistical nightmare getting us to our starting point at Bilto from Narvik today. The bus that would have taken us to Nordreisa (40k from Bilto) doesn't run on a Saturday, but there is a bus from Narvik to Tromso that stops at Nordkjosbotn, but that's a long way from Nordreisa. Just as well we've got a hire car then.

Five of us (Philip, Mick, Kathy, Robert & myself) jumped in the hire car first thing this morning and drove to Bilto, about a five and a half hour drive. The remaining three (Rancidand, John & James) caught the afternoon bus from Narvik to Nordkjosbotn and Philip drove the hire car back to pick them up. Finally Mick drove the hire car back to Nordreisa and got a pre-arranged lift back up the valley from a friendly local lady who had just finished her shift.

Simple really!
