London's pretty Robin Hood after all innit
Today I've had the pleasure of accompanying a Cambodian colleague, Socheata, and another friend of FFI, Cecil, on a sightseeing trip to London.
This proper tourist thing is something I should have done years ago so that I realised how great this city on our doorstep actually was. Interesting bits of trivia bring it life, such as how St Paul's Cathedral is 365 feet tall, a foot for every day of the year.
I'll still be sticking to visiting, but at least I know it's there...
I MAY, just may have at last found an appreciation for the art world. Interesting landscapes by Rubens caught my eye at the National Gallery. However lord only knows what that vertical blue bronze statue of a horse's face near Hyde Park is supposed to represent.
These flowers were in a colourful patch next to the Tower of London.
