Another day at the office.

Took a walk down the road at break time and the sun was shining so I couldn't resist a blip. There are so many old crofts across the voe here, all abandoned now. Thinking of all the work and time that they must have invested to make a living on the land and sea, it is sad to see the empty houses, but I suppose the descendants of these folk are spread all over the world now; many in the USA, Canada and New Zealand.
It looks so peaceful and idyllic on a fine sunny day, but I suppose the living must have been hard at times, and a peaceful scene doesn't butter any bannocks.
