eating from the tree of life

i have never seen geese do this before...

they were literally sort of jumping out of the water and stretching their necks to reach the tree... it was the coolest thing ever... and here i thought it was only the squirrels who were interested in eating the new little buds off the tree.

although we have warm temps today, forecasters are predicting snow again for sunday morning. supposedly, the east coast is expecting storms, too...

i did notice some flowers peaking through as i was driving today... i may scope them out tomorrow and see what i see...
