I thought this little black phoebe was a good part of the scene up at Oakland Mt. View Cemetary. It adds to the symetry.
Black phoebes are flycatchers. They can be seen on plants near grasslands and ponds; they suddenly fly out to grab insects, then return to their perch. This cemetary, with its many flowers, ponds and grassy areas is a great habitat for them. It's actually a great place to explore for human and natural history,
