Grandmum's dress

Grandmum, my great grandmother, made this dress for her granddaughter Sarah in the 1960's.
It was Miranda's choice of the day, laid out lovingly on her bed last night, along with a garish pair of striped pink tights and an overlarge t-shirt with the slogan 'does it look like I care?' scribbled obnoxiously across the front.
I made her take the last two off for this photo - Grandmum's dress, with its pink and brown smocking, lace-trimmed sleeves and tiny pearl buttons, requires no accessories.
