Hugo

I would like to introduce you to Hugo. Hugo is 5 weeks old on his first portrait shot, and Hugo is one of the 7 Puppies that I have been Fostering for the German Shepherd Rescue along with the Mom Gypsy (link is at the foot of the page to the Mom, I am hopeless at this linky stuff Lol).

We are going to keep the Mom and Hugo, the other 6 puppies all have homes. Three puppies are staying local and three are off to bonny Scotland, so in three weeks time they have a long journey ahead of them. In their short lives they have come out of a Dog pound in Yorkshire down to me in Warwickshire and going off to Scotland.

For all who have been following my journal on the Mom and pups. The mom is no longer skin and bone, she has padded out really nice even though she is still feeding 7 babies. The moms a bit of a handful, but I feel with some TLC will settle with us quite well. The pups are all doing fine, growing rapidly, are on 4 little meals a day and lapping goats milk. still feeding off the mom too but not so much now. They have become really playful and love to be cuddled. Teeth have appeared so they are chewing on an old pair of shoes. They are off to the vets next week for their first vaccinations.

I will try and get a picture of the group before they all leave.
