Camelia

There is a story behind this plant which is in my Mum and Dad's garden. When I was 3 we moved into our home, Dad took me to Woolworths to get a mothers day present just after we moved in. Dad picked this plant which was in a little pot, I had picked chocolates! Apparently I was not best pleased to give this to Mum who of course was delighted with it. Dad planted it in the garden and 24 years later it has grown to a massive height and always flowers around Mother's Day - good value for money I would say, and I'm glad Dad never got the chocolates even if I was a grumpy little girl!

Also this picture is for my Granny, it would have been her birthday today. X x
